Mental Health First Aid Training

As a Mental Health First Aid Instructor Member with MHFA England, I am qualified to deliver Mental Health First Aid Training. 
Whether you want to create a cohort of Mental Health First Aiders across your organisation or include it as part of compulsory Line Manager training, this in-depth course provides your people:
  • Understanding of mental health and wellbeing
  • Practical skills to spot triggers and signs of mental health issues
  • Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress
  • Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening
  • Knowledge to help someone recover their health 

Example Mental Health First Aid Training

I am qualified to deliver Mental Health First Aid at an in-house venue of your choice (2 days) or through a combination of interactive live workshops plus self-directed learning. Both formats cover the same content and provide participants with a comprehensive manual, workbook, MHFA action plan card and certificate at the end of the course.
This two day course can be delivered on two consecutive days or spacing the two days up to a week apart.
Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities. Each session is built around a Mental Health First Aid action plan.
I run face to face courses with a minimum of 8 participants and maximum of 16  per course so that I can keep people safe and supported while they learn. 
All participants receive a comprehensive manual, workbook, MHFA action plan card and certificate at the end of the course.
This online course is delivered through the MHFA England Online Learning Hub.
Learning takes place through four live training workshops, spread across two weeks, with self-directed learning activities in between. Each session is built around a Mental Health First Aid action plan.
